GLCM is a global Holistic Lifestyle & Wellness Community, Consultation Team, and Earth Sanctuary founded on 2·22·22. As a community, we are driven by a desire to collectively thrive and celebrate life by protecting and nurturing the planet, mankind, the mind, the body, & the soul.
We dream of a mutually enhancing Human-Earth relationship.
The GLCM community is part of a global awakening anchored on time-tested solutions from successful eco-village communities, in conjunction with its own intentional living experience. Recognizing the detrimental effects of the industrial growth economy, the GLCM community creates a shift toward a life-sustaining society. Our wide-access, online community and learning center is accessible to all free of charge and unrestricted by membership fees. Our developing eco-village and farm resides on ten acres of remote, sacred land in east central Arizona on what is—to the best of our knowledge—ancestral lands of the Navajo and Apache.
We offer what we practice: 1) skills & guidance in the fields of permaculture, spiritual ecology, cultivation, homesteading, life design, and holistic wellness; and 2) access & promotion to sustainable and holistic lifestyle products, goods, services, treatments, practices, resources, and therapies.

Founding Story
Genesis Liberorum Civium Mundi
Grant Carlson and Leslie Crystal founded GLCM out of their love for the Earth, Mankind, and Each Other.
Their shared concern for the future of life, coupled with their unique gifts and abilities, guided them into the roles of the Father and Mother of GLCM— birthing a beautiful and resilient community.
Grant and Leslie have raised their own wild, spirited children on this land and principles, and feel deeply fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from the tens of thousands of inspiring people who have passed through this place.
